St Anne's enjoys working hard and playing hard together as a church family. Therefore there are regular events for the family to get involved in which are listed below and on the left. Weekly newsletter items will also be posted below to give an overall feel of what is happening at our church.
Items for the Julian Trust can be placed in the basket at the back of church please. specifically requested are: UHT milk, tinned tomatoes, tinned tuna, squash, tinned custard, margarine and washing powder. Your donations will be greatly appreciated in helping the charity to assist Bristol's homeless & rough sleepers.
The “St Anne’s Shed” (our churchyard working party) meets every Monday @ 1.30pm, but please note that they will be taking a seasonal break on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
Cake 'n Shake, our new toddler group with a difference, is taking a break in December but will re-start in January. To find out more, or to volunteer to help please speak with Jo or Bruce.
Christmas Coffee and Carols - On December 1st we all have an opportunity to start the Advent & Christmas season with a rousing chorus of carols and songs from World War 1 - very appropriate given the recent 100 year anniversary of the end of the war. Come along in good voice to the Church Hall in Barry Road between 10am and 12 noon and help keep your vocal chords tuned by having some tea or coffee and maintain your energy levels with some delicious cakes.
Sunday 2nd December at 10.30am - Celebrate at UCLG.
Sunday 9th December services are 9.00am Holy Communion and 10.30am Holy Communion. You are asked to bring unwrapped toys to the services. These will be passed to The Salvation Army who will give them as presents to children who may not otherwise receive gifts. The Salvation Army received our toys last year and they were greatly appreciated. Please bring something if you can.
Sunday 9th December at 4.00pm is Messy Christmas!
KRASH CHRISTMAS PARTY - will be held in the Orchard Rooms on Tuesday 11th December from 10.30am. Parents/carers are asked to bring a wrapped present suitable for their child to help bring a few "Ho, Ho, Ho's" to the party!

What If Pantomime - Robin Hood and The Babes in the Wood. December 13, 14 and 15 at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on Dec 15. From the title it seems that we are to get two for the price of one! Once again it will be staged at Sir Bernard Lovell Academy and tickets at £8 each or 4 for £30 are now available at www.wipg.org.uk or see Izzy Brown.
Thursday December 13th - Carol Singing 5.45pm at Little Croft; 6.30pm at Edgemont House and 7.15pm at The Crown & Horseshoe, North St.
Friday December 14th at 7.00pm Carol Singing at The Harvester, Longwell Green.
Sunday 16th December services are 10.00am Morning Praise, 6.00pm Carol Service.
Wednesday December 19th at 2.00pm Mothers' Union - social meeting in Church Hall.
Sunday 23rd December services are 10.00am Morning Praise, 6.00pm Carol Service.
Monday 24th December our Christmas Eve services are 2.00pm Christingle Service, 4.00pm Christingle Service and 11.15pm Midnight Communion.
Tuesday 25th Christmas Day, everyone is welcome at 10.30am Christmas Communion.
Sunday 30th December services are 9.00am Morning Praise and 10.30am Morning Praise.
