St Anne's enjoys working hard and playing hard together as a church family. Therefore there are regular events for the family to get involved in which are listed below and on the left. Weekly newsletter items will also be posted below to give an overall feel of what is happening at our church.

Items for the Julian Trust can be placed in the basket at the back of church please. specifically requested are: UHT milk, tinned tomatoes, tinned tuna, squash, tinned custard, margarine and washing powder. Your donations will be greatly appreciated in helping the charity to assist Bristol's homeless & rough sleepers.

 

Upcoming Events.

The “St Anne’s Shed” (our churchyard working party) meets every Monday @ 1.30pm

Sunday 15th July @ 10.30am.  Morning Praise with Special Guests.  A morning praise service with a family feel as we welcome the Chernobyl Children staying in local homes.

Sunday 15th July @ 12.30pm. Bring and Share lunch at UCLG.  A director from the African Pastors Fellowship will be visiting to talk about their current e-learning project which supports the training of pastors in east Africa. Please contact Richard Bryant if you wish to go, or for more details.

Sunday 15th July @ 4.00pm is Messy Church time in the Vicarage Garden (tbc).

Tuesday 17th July @ 10.00am.  Please join us for coffee, cake and a chat in the Church Hall, on the corner of Barry Road / School Road.

Wednesday 18th July @ 11.00am.  Mothers’ Union is taking an outing to Chew Valley Lake.  This is now fully booked!

Wednesday 18th July @ 7.30pm.  The Men's Group will be meeting in the Oldland Club, in West Street. David Willis, the Methodist Minister at UCLG will be our speaker. Tickets, £10, and more details from Steve Hemmings.

Come and hear Madeleine speak on 'Parenting for Life' over a delicious breakfast. Hosted by MU and Orchard Oasis on Saturday July 21st 9.30-11.00am.  See Jo Goodwin for tickets. All are welcome.

Saturday 21st July, 2.00 - 5.00pm. Jill and Alan invite you to tea and cakes at Pines Cottage, 95 North Street, BS30 8TP.  This an opportunity to sample some yummy home made cakes and catch up with Caroline. Caroline directs Iris Madagascar, with 150 children and runs several community projects.  All donations towards Caroline's return flight to Madagascar this summer will be gratefully received. 

Sunday 5th August @ 10.30am is our next Celebrate service at UCLG.
